Location: Fort Worth, TX
Schedule: Full-Time | 8-Hour Shift | OT Available
Pay: $23-$30/hr DOE
Type: Temp-to-Hire

TrendHR is hiring experienced Precision Grinders for a precision machining company serving aerospace, energy, industrial manufacturing, and specialized equipment industries. This is a custom job-shop environment focused on high-quality, precision-machined components, not repetitive production grinding.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate OD, ID, Surface, and Blanchard grinders
• Grind parts to precise dimensions, tolerances, and surface finish requirements
• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Select and dress grinding wheels for various materials and applications
• Perform machine adjustments to maintain accuracy
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and indicators
• Work with steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and specialty alloys
• Complete multiple setups and transition between custom jobs
• Maintain equipment and follow safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with machinists and shop leadership to meet deadlines

Qualifications

• Experience as a Precision Grinder, Grinding Machinist, Tool Grinder, or similar role
• Hands-on OD and/or ID grinding experience
• Surface grinding experience required
• Blanchard grinding experience strongly preferred
• Ability to independently set up grinding equipment
• Strong blueprint reading and machining drawing interpretation skills
• Experience holding tight tolerances
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
• Knowledge of grinding wheels, dressing, feeds, speeds, and surface finishes
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently in a custom machining environment
• Strong focus on quality and attention to detail

Preferred: Experience across multiple grinding processes, including OD, ID, Surface, and Blanchard grinding.
